Gelish is a soak-off gel polish, which can be applied like nail polish (with a brush), but must be cured in either a LED lamp for 30 secs or in UV lamp for 2 mins. Please note that this is not a nail polish, and will NOT air dry.
With proper application, the Gelish colour can stay on your nails for up to 3 weeks with no chipping or peeling. For removal, you only need to soak it off with the remover for about 15 mins.
Please also note that the Gelish top & base cannot be used with normal nail polish, like OPI. They can only be used with soak-off gel colours.
In order to apply Gelish on your nails, you will need the following items:

3) Gelish Cleanser (120ml/4oz ; 480ml/16oz)

*If you have very weak nails that always peel or break, you may also require Gelish Structure Clear Gel (15g/0.5oz).

This is the sealer top gel designed to create the ultimate high shine finish that will not dull, chip or peel from the Gelish Soak Off Gel Polish. This can be removed quickly with the Gelish Soak Off Gel Remover and cures in 30secs with a LED lamp or 2mins with an UV lamp.
3) Gelish Structure Clear Gel (15g/0.5oz) $30
This is a clear soak-off gel that is thicker in viscosity to reinforce strength, enhance the nail and repair damaged nail plate. It can be removed quickly with the Gelish Soak Off Gel Remover too, and cures in 30secs with a LED lamp or 2mins with an UV lamp.
4) Gelish Cleanser (120ml/4oz $16 ; 480ml/16oz $40)
This comes in 2 sizes - 120ml or 480ml.
With the original bottle, it is very easy to use more than required when you pour, as the content can spill easily. You can also opt for the same item (120ml) in a Pump Bottle $20 (as pictured below). The Pump Bottle can be locked when not in use to prevent spillage, and you only need to press the top to wet your cotton pad with the required amount.
5) Gelish Soak Off Gel Remover (120ml/4oz $16 ; 480ml/16oz $40)
This also comes in 2 sizes - 120ml or 480ml.
Similar to the Cleanser, you can opt for the 120ml in a Pump Bottle $20.
6) UV (36 Watt) without Timer $50 UV (36 Watt) with Timer $80 or LED Lamp (18G) $600
You can use either a 36-Watt UV lamp or LED lamp to cure the Gelish Soak Off Gel Polish.
This is the latest 3rd Generation LED Gel Light by Gelish.

1) Using a 180grit file, gently file the surface of the Gelish Top It Off to break the seal and remove shine.
2) Saturate a cotton wool with Gelish Soak-Off and apply to the top of the nail surface.
3) Wrap finger with soaked cotton wool tightly with aluminium foil (cut into square pieces), and allow to sit for 10mins.
4) Use a twisting motion to firmly remove the aluminium wrap from 1 nail at a time. If a significant amount of gel remains on the nail, re-wrap the finger with the aluminium foil, to allow the Gelish Soak-Off to penetrate longer. You can re-soak the cotton wool with more Gelish Soak-Off before re-wrapping the finger.
5) Gently push any residual gel from the nail using orange stick.
6) Gently buff surface of nails with buffer and apply cuticle oil around the nails.
